People have figured out how to remove sprint. In any game type.
Time to admit it 343. Either you lied, or you honestly did not know it could be done.
I believe it is the latter, since they outsourced the game to multiple companies, they honestly have no idea how the game they ‘claim’ they made even works. It’s the same reason the security and engine were copied directly from Reach, leaving gaping security flaws wherever anything was changed in the game, because the security no longer matches the content.
Expect to see it spread soon, I’m sure I’m not the only one who wanted a way to do this, and it’s absolutely pathetic that it did not originate with 343.
Yeah, okay, so sprint can be turned off. I figured that out after one laggy game. Sprint and AAs were inactive, likely because sprint is still considered an AA under the Reach-based part of the game, but just tied to another button, so when the game got too bogged down to turn on AAs,sprint got disabled, too.
It’s pretty easy to put it all together - it doesn’t take a genius or a hacker to know something like that can be turned off.
IF 343 said anything about not being able to turn off sprint, they likely meant it as a lack of option, not a lack of ability.
This thread is dumblol. Nothing’s wrong with sprint anymore since Spartans are back up to full size and can actually be shot while trying to retreat.

.-. Anything is possible with modding. And slow people like you take everything to literal. “can’t” means won’t. besides about the only map that no sprint would work on is heaven. These maps are built AROUND armor abilites. If you remove something as dynamic as sprint the map won’t play to its fullest.

In… Custom… Games… Options are nice. No one is saying to take it out of the game. Spring is good on this insanely large maps. However, when forging tiny maps… Options, options are nice.
