Sprees continue through deaths?

Saw some of an hour long video on YouTube earlier of the multiplayer in action and the person playing gotta rampage even though he died half way through the spree. Also saw him get a perfection with a death.

Please tell me this is a bug.

I know it’s a beta before anyone points out the obvious.

That never happened for me in the beta. Maybe the game funked out. But I got a rampage 15-0 KD and died ending my spree.

Since that was over a month ago, I think 343i would have enough sense to remove that bug.
