When ever I play Halo CEA with spotify running its a 100% that at some point if I pause the game or bring up guide/dashboard my X1X will freeze and I will have to hard off it. My S @1080p also does this. Anyone else have this problem?
Any chance you use Instant-On? If so, use Energy Saver instead. Instant-On causes problems like the one you described.
I use instant on both!
Not sure I’m willing to put up with the huge boot time so I can listen to spotify and play Halo as its the only game I have trouble with.
Seem more like a problem Microsoft should fix since Halo CE is the ONLY game I have ANY problems with.

Yeah, it’s odd Xbox hasn’t sorted out the issues with Instant-On even after so many years. I tried Instant-On for maybe a week and had issues with multiple features, the worst one being terrible framerates for every game. Once I switched back to Energy Saver, there were no more issues for the most part. Guess it comes down to whether you place higher priority on waiting a few seconds and getting a relatively stable experience or a faster boot time with a few compromises.
