So I finished Spartan Ops Season One a week or 2 ago and was astounded by the ending of Halsey joining the Elites and Didact.

Anywho, it got me thinking how it will affect the story in the future. I mean, Halsey knew pretty much everything about the UNSC and Humans and so now so do the Covenant/Forerunners. Now just tech alone, this could give them an even greater advantage of how to counter it, but it also made me think about Chief.

I have a feeling Chief still wants to find Halsey and speak to her about Cortana. With rumors that Cortana may still be alive inside the Composer (or just imprisoned by the Didact) I have a feeling that with Halsey on their side, Chief MAY join up with Halsey to obtain Cortana back. I could be wrong, but something along the lines, or even a way to make him convert or help Halsey get her revenge may become a factor.

This possibility could also influence the chance to FINALLY be able to fight the UNSC (I’ve always wanted to kill marines, and not have a penalty)

Anywho, that’s my 2 cents. It may have been thought of before in another forum, but I’m too lazy to look it up if it is.

hopefully we would get to fight ONI and not the UNSC. I will not stand for chief being turned into a -Yoink!- traitor! lol

Well, in that case he’d be a traitor to ONI. Not that anyone cares about it because they lie all the time anyway…

Halsey may hold a grudge against ONI, but not the whole of humanity. I really can’t see her siding with the Covenant/Forerunners.

To me, it seemed obvious that she will just trick Jul 'Mdama into a false alliance, using her arm as the pretense. He does have the other half of the artifact at the end of the day.

Just my two cents. I really don’t think Halsey would just turn on the whole of her species because she lost an arm.
