Because we aren’t. We are Crimson and those cinematics just focus on Majestic.
Your topic and post don’t seem to have relations. Crimson is better than Majestic squad anyway so why would you want to be the squad constantly having casualties?

You place as part of Fireteam Crimson during the Spartan Ops mission. Majestic is sort of a group of cocky marines who weren’t fit to become Spartan IVs.
Gabrial Throne is part of Majestic and one of the two in the squad that don’t seem like cocky -Yoinks!-, the other being the female of Majestic.

Miller is isn’t a part of either squad, he is intel and orbital assist. As for Crimson squad they are the player based squad of 4 people. Think halo reach, an unnamed player created spartan fills the role of noble 6 to fight alongside the others, similar to Crimson fighting alongside Majestic squads.
