SPOPS Griefing 101

Hello Spartans and welcome to SPOPS Griefing 101 or as i like to call it “how i simply dont give a -Yoink!- monkeys left nut about replaying old SPOPS anymore”

Playing in a new SPOPS can genuinely be a fun and fulfilling game experience introducing a combination of moderate skill and team play with a few random strangers to play out a story based co-op mission against what whould normaly be considered quite difficult odds.

Then comes the replay and with that replay familiarity comes the oh so very very fun game of “SPOPS griefing”

For those who don’t know what griefing is (oh you lucky lucky few) it is the simple act of attempting to make the game as difficult as possible for other players in order to cause them to quit out or force a team kill the “best” result being a player ban on the person you are griefing.

Now this may seem unsporting or even downright destructive rather than disruptive going out of ones way to ruin another persons personal play experience for your own gratification or fulfilment but you would be wrong!

Nothing can make a childish players epeen sit up and take notice like raising to the bait of an in game troll nor can anything compare to the pseudo-sexual gratification of getting an innocent player banned due to there own frustration at your antics.

NOTE:

  1. SPOPS Griefing should only be undertaken by the most immature and puerile of gamer tweens as the potential for banning is surprisingly high but lets be honest its your parents cash and you know if you whine enough they will just buy you another gold account and after all its xmas do you really think they will say no?

  2. Griefing is a legitimate substitute for sexual gratification and don’t let anyone tell you that its not they simply cannot take pleasure in the annoyance of others to the truly sensual level you do.

  3. Griefing is superior in every way to interacting with other people in an adult manner as it allows you to be as big an -Yoink- as you want and there is no chance that your shrivelled and diminished personality or squeaky voice can be mocked or judged, after all why try when they can make you cry?

this guide is entirely sarcastic and not to be taken seriously but lets be honest it strikes a few cords now doesn’t it?

You should be careful, there are so many idiots on those forums that many will start reading, understanding you promote griefing they just close the page and go doing it without reading the end… XD

that would actually show just how bloody stupid griefing players are if they were unable to see the level of bile, piss, vinegar and spite this post was made in.

You got griefed, didn’t you?

> You got griefed, didn’t you?

doesnt everyone at some stage?

honestly it was the giggeling tween squeekers creaming themselves over my headset as they bounced, teabagged, jumped in front of moving tanks and scoped players while i scratched my head in a combination of confusion until all that was left was myself and the griefer forcing me to complete legendary landgrab pretty much solo before making my report and avoiding the player.

> You got griefed, didn’t you?

I think Daddy didn’t love him.

I just avoid them and file a complaint. Unfortunatly it happens every second game on vehicle maps.

I lol’ed. They should have an unique Emblem dedicated to vehicle and team killers that cannot be removed until you’ve manage so many Distractions and Assists. If you keep team Killing and Vehicle destroying you get paired with others like yourself. Enjoy.

Ha ha. That would be cool.

Don’t replay the missions with vehicles.

Why report? He didn’t violate the code of conduct…

i’d go so far as to call this common sense in the real world but in Halo this passes for a level of genius thats on par with Hawking.

make it so 343

…please?

> Why report? He didn’t violate the code of conduct…

technically any form of conduct unbecoming allows you to choose to avoid a player using the XBL player review system. thus reported and avoided.

I would also have a marker of shame added to them in MM. Sort of like the King flag in Regicide. So the other team always sees where that person is, and if you kill them you get bonus personal points. Like a +5 medal, call it “Keepin’ it Clean”

You betray teammates, harm/EMP a team controlled vehicle, you get flagged and tagged.

I only grief when I play Halo 4 now.

It’s actually much MUCH more fun than the broken POS game itself.
