SPOILERS!! ViDoc + Achievements = TMI

SPOILERS!! RUN NOW!!

In the Achievement list for Halo 4, the eight level Achievement is called Composer. which more than likely means the Composer is in Halo 4.

In the “A Hero Awakens - Part 1” ViDoc, the Script says how Cortana has her own physical body. which means the Composer was used to put Cortana into a body, and possibly save her from Rampancy.

In the Achievement list for Halo 4, the eighth level is called Midnight. It is right after Composer and the end of Halo 4’s Campaign.

In the “A Hero Awakens - Part 1” ViDoc, the Script says the Didact is attacking Master Chief and Cortana. since Cortana has her own physical body, thanks to the Composer, this is the last level, Midnight. because we’re fighting the Didact, this means he is the Ancient Evil.

DL;TR

Didact is the Ancient Evil and Cortana got her own body from the Composer.

My question is: Why is the Didact the Ancient Evil? His character is not Evil, at all.

Almost. The ancient evil is controlling didact. Requiem is a prison to keep the evil in but its slowly seeping out and gaining control of didact. Atleast thats what i think

yea I believe there is already a large thread about this that another forum member has found this info. if you are looking for pics here are some provided by the forum goer.

We don’t know that the Didact is the ancient evil. It seems they settle their differences within the span of the game, meaning something else is the trilogy spanning ancient evil.

I pray you are right. I refuse to believe the Didact is the Ancient Evil; his character is not Evil at all.

She’s not got a physical body, read the ORIGINAL post that you reposted and you’ll get the full story.

It just doesn’t make since of him being the ultimate bad guy in the game. Remember the trailer? He couldve killed chief then and there when he scanned him. But he didn’t. theres other things to consider but still.

if you look at some of the pics above it will reveal alot more to you.

For now all we know is that the Didact, at one point during the game, appears hostile towards both chief and cortana. It’s not much to go on, so I wouldn’t jump to the conclusion that he is the ancient evil, although there is something worryingly violent about him. He may just be confused, maybe he just awoke and panicked at the sight of them, we don’t know enough to draw conclusions.

Aren’t there only 8 levels?

Call me an idiot if you want, but i dont know what you guys are referring to when you guys say “the Didact”. I haven’t read any of the books, but i have seen halo legends. But anyways, can somebody explain to me who the Didact is, and what he has to do with the halo story?

I agree that it is TMI. I just read the TL; DR and I do not want to know how close/off you are to the facts. Good theory though.
