Spoilers:Thoughts on Campaign? Too much Locke?

What did you guys think of the campaign? I personally really like the story arc although I felt as though there was too much locke. All the missions that stood out were the blue team missions to me, which i don’t think is a coincidence. It felt like I played as Locke far too much and Blue team nowhere near enough. Should’ve had a more 50/50 split imo.

Actually after nightfall and Halo 5 I still don’t even care about Locke. Probably would’ve been more interesting if Buck had been the leader of Osiris and it gone from there.

Loved the campaign. No complaints. Its a story told the way it is. Do you complain when movies feature one actor more than another? Take the story as it is.

Well to be honest I feel I’d be just as critical. if the split was with a known charecter e.g. Buck or Arbiter it’d have been OK, but using a completely new character didn’t work well for me.

I don’t mind it much. Chief’s nearing his end as the series’ protagonist. He’s had a good long run, but there’s nothing new about playing as him anymore. It’s not hard to guess exactly what he’s going to say or do anymore. If they drag Chief into more games after 6, I might start to hate him. He’s had his run, let him retire from gaming in peace.

I thought Locke was a great character. Maybe his character acts on a more subtle level, but I didn’t find anything to hate him that stemmed from his character.

I did when Bryan Cranston’s character was killed off early on in the Godzilla movie despite him being shown a lot in the marketing material, more so since he was the best character in the movie. I don’t know why you feel no story can be criticized for any reason, stories are meant to be told to people and people are going to have different reactions. The fact you like it shows that you aren’t as unbiased as you’d think you are. Unless you feel stories can only be liked, an odd thought process all the same.
