You successfully killed off the Halo Franchise well done. Cortana dying? Changing the story line to Halo from what actually happens, well done. You really had nothing to go on since Halo 3 was supposed to be the end and Bungie’s way of going independent again sell the rights to Halo to Microsoft but seriously? You had nothing to go on so you could not make the story where you fight the Didact and Master Chief lives on with Cortana you had to have her end her own life for what, to make it more dramatic and with some kind of cliff hanger? I Mean seriously you had almost 5 effing years and you could not even make a story where the story is not predictable and plain? I truly believed you could make a spiritual successor to Halo 3 by purely making the campaigns story so effing over the top you would want to keep coming back to it each new Halo game, but all you have managed to do was butcher something worth a damn Halo CE, Halo EFFING 2, and the best damn game on the Second Gen Consoles Halo 3. Well done I hope you money grubbing fat kids are happy at Microsoft one day maybe you will realize the grave error your story lead made when he was to lazy to right a conclusion to a game that was supposed to be a 9/10 instead of a 4/10. All your story managed to do was create some bs Reach look alike and call it the next Halo one that was supposed to succeed Halo 3. Which it looks like Bungie was right all those years ago Halo 3 was the end of the series, and to think if you would have taken the time to make a new game the way you said your new look on the franchise was supposed to be. Maybe you would actually have a series that’s going to live up to It’s hype but nope sorry it dies here you killed it and all because you wanted to put a new spin on it and could not follow the Halo Bible being separated from Bungie and all. If you pay attention they made up some bogus reason for wanting to phase out the Master Chief and using Cortana’s death as a conclusion to there made up story. This is the death of the series. Unless they are using it as a true cliff hangar for the next 2 games which if they do that then they will have a really good edition to the franchise but from the looks of it there trying to create a whole new story with either the Master Chief fighting along side some one else or just a whole new story. Either way having Cortana end her own life was a sorry conclusion one they should have really thought more about the game won’t be Halo without her. An artificial intelligence along side a futuristic super soldier able to meld with this highly adaptable intelligence. Halo CE changed the FPS format for the better and that was with Cortana guiding the Master Chief through each mission all the way to Halo 3. You took all that hard work and put it to shame with your lack of story telling in this new franchise. I had high hopes and you 343 and you Microsoft failed miserably just so you could tell a new story. A story you failed to make original and worth while how hard would it have been to take the almost 5 damn years to make a story that tied 3 new Halo games together? Obviously pretty difficult because you could not manage doing it without killing the damn story line of the Master Chief, with out Cortana making her voice heard during the campaigns you lose the edge that only exists when the Master Chief and Cortana are working together now you have to create some bogus story without Cortana and from the looks of it the Master Chief. I hope being Microsoft’s female dog is what you spent almost 5 years striving to be.
The game failed because you didn’t like the ending? I’m sorry but people are going to go, but the game by no means failed. With almost 2 million preorders in the US ALONE how did this game fail? They made a crap load amount of money and actually made people quite happy (excluding you).
