Hey, after playing the Halo 5 Guardians campaign, I am left wondering how does Hunt the Truth tie into it exactly? The campaign’s hunt didn’t seem to last very long and it didn’t seem as if Master Chief committed a heinous crime. In Hunt the Truth, it sounded like Master Chief was considered a “traitor”, but how exactly? For disobeying orders to return to Infinity?
Hunt the Truth’s primary focus in terms of narrative was to provide a ground level perspective of ONI and the Guardians.
The whole Master Chief being a traitor thing was established and resolved in season 1.
Yeah, at the end of season 1 they take all of the info showing that MC was not-guilty and actually trying to save the politician and cleared his name while screwing Ben in the process.
