Cortana does not have a physical body, do not read this incorrectly, this is a script for the actors to follow, they have to follow body actions and lines, so it makes it seem like cortana is real, she isn’t, in the real game it will be MUCH much different.
CORTANA HAS NOT BECOME A SENTIENT BEING (living person) don’t be mislead by what is said in the script.
THE TOP OF THE SCRIPT READS “IM NOT DOING THIS FOR MANKIND” That same line was read also in the vidoc by jen taylor (voice of cortana) pretty much confirming this is legitimate, after this “im not doing this for mankind” sentence she “charges” at didact, maybe in an attempt to save chief? this would explain why she isn’t doing it for “mankind” she’s doing it for Chief. She attacks didact, possibly gets inside his armour or controls him with something, then restraining him, making him release Chief.

It would seem, didact is strangling chief, and cortana stops him.
(EDIT 2) at the bottom of the script we see chief is falling maybe when didact released his fist he droped chief off of a ledge, and that’s when we see him laying on the floor in the vidoc?!
(EDIT 3)I’ve edited to explain that it wasn’t the didact in those images, to be honest i’m happy, i really didn’t want to see what he looked like, that would have really spoiled it for me, i’m happy we still know nothing, but i’ll put the little pieces like this together until launch so we can all have a better understanding when we first play through it.

I’m not doing this for mankind" and charges the Didact.
[r]ushes toward the Didact and jumps all over him (legs, arms, chest, back)
several takes of “Cortana” tackling and climbing on random objects at full speed
[Didact] is attacked by Cortana. He attempts to swat at Cortana as a means of self defense
unclenches his fists and drops Chief.
Cortana begins restraining Didact by constraining his limbs to the Bridge.
Several takes of “Cortana” climbing on “Didact” actor and then taking a strand of energy from a specific body part ([hands],[can’t see], [back], wraists, knees, elbows, shoulders, etc)
Didact struggles idle

Last piece of info, this is getting to deep now, the story is starting to open up a little bit, on the other page (the blurry one) you can make out “Telekinesis” this could suggest that didact has telekinetic powers, and would also explain this video.
