So I work at Walmart and as Infinite gets closer to release (how close we don’t know for sure), the toys have started to roll out. We got the 3.75" figures a few weeks ago which included a Jackal, Brute, White Spartan, Master Chief, The Pilot and a Marine. All of those made sense. But upon getting the 6" figures yesterday, I found that beyond generic Spartans and Master Chief there is a figure for Kat. Why would they include a Reach character in the series of Infinite figures unless she is in the game in some form?
I don’t think it is a spoiler as Kat is very much dead
. My guess is as Halo: Infinite is a soft reboot where old a new fans can just pick it up and play, that there is some sort of narration at the beginning giving the players an overview of what happens in Halo: Reach right up to Halo 5: Guardians.

Well, we can rule out that she’s alive to get any thoughts of physical engagement out of our minds. It probably legacy sets like the smaller toys that had Kat’s armor months before.
Noble team toys are probably popular so they keep making them.
Kat’s like the most clearly dead person of Noble Team (other than maybe Emile).

That would make sense. Still seems a bit strange to have a figure for only Kat though. Especially since it’s supposed to be for Infinite. I haven’t seen them making anymore figures of Halo 1-5 characters.

That’s wild… I can think of plenty of reasons to have Noble Team figures… I can’t think of any reasons to have just Kat.

Not all figures are released at once. McFarlane’s Halo 3 figures had around 4 waves where armours such as EOD and Security came in wave 2 or 3. Hell, not even the Arbiter made it in wave 1, lol.
Reach had a decent amount of popularity in the toyline last time I recalled. I thick they’re merely using their themes to better promote Halo Infinite’s toyline since Halo doesn’t necessarily dwell into reviving the dead (not counting that time Catherine Halsey “revived” a flatlined Linda).

Or that time 343 “revived” Cortana…
Not trying to -yoink- on 343, but come on, that was an easy one. In fairness to 343, they’ve maintained pretty much every other death so far, and thats what Is appreciates abouts thems (please tell me there are Letterkenny fans on here that get that).
Outside of series like Supernatural that make their living on death being non-permanent, making death a non-permanent thing gets rather annoying.
Hmmmm. Interesting. Reach may be a focal point of Infinite.
