Hey Spartans, as mentioned in the topic title, there will be spoilers ahead. If you had not completed Halo: Reach yet, which is hard to understand at this point in time, please view at your discretion. Also, I know there might have been another topic similar to this one but in order to avoid necro-bumping, I decided to create a new one.
At the end of Lone World, we saw Noble Six get overwhelmed by Sangheili and dies shortly after. However, the scene cuts to his/her helmet before the Zealot could deliver the killing blow. Now I was thinking that anything could have happened at that moment, which leads me to wonder if Six managed to fight off these last few Elites even though their last attempt of retaliation was fruitless? I only ask this because of the following excerpt from Halopedia’s trivia on Noble Six:
> Even though, generally, the most widely accepted canon by the fans is that Noble Six died on August 30 at the hands of Sangheili, Bungie has never stated either way the exact date of Noble Six’s death, which could’ve been at any point between August 30, 2552 and July 7, 2589, Bungie most likely did this to leave the way Noble Six died up to the imagination of the player.
I want to know what is your take on Six’s last stand in Lone Wolf? What could have happened after that cutscene? Did Six survive the battle against the Sangheili, and continue fighting on Reach before succumbing to their wounds? Did Six miraculously escape Reach (unlikely)? Share your theories, and don’t be afraid to back them up!
If I you want to read about noble six (Spartan-B312), I would recommend reading this.
Noble 6 survived the last stab by the sangheili that did the “final blow” so while unconscious they took him as a prisoner but he managed to escape on a seraph and made it to a unsc fleet hence him now being in crimson on unsc infinity and most likely why crimson has no cutscenes
If they ever made a movie on reach and noble 6 I’d like him to kill all of the elites that attack him and then die from his mortal wounds sort of like gladiator.

I’ve always played with the possibility of Noble Six surviving and escaping Reach, and eventually becoming a member of Fireteam Crimson… though it isn’t possible, not with how 343i somewhat confirmed Six’s status. Still, I like your theory!

I wouldn’t mind watching that! When it occurred to me that even if Six managed to escape those Elites, I wondered that if he might’ve died from his wounds in another location or something. Or if backup miraculously came to his aid that Six would’ve died either way.
Noble Six is MIA. Period.
Noble Six is clearly dead, but its very unlikely that he could have made it to a fleeing UNSC ship due to the fact that they all were either destroyed or fled Reach.

We can all dream it

Spartans never die, right?

I would love for this to be true but it’s not. This makes sense but he is dead no matter what.
In my personal headcanon, I like to believe that Noble Six survived; that the Sangheili, after stabbing him, simply left him for dead, and that he was rescued by other survivors and returned to ONI without Jun or anyone in the SPARTAN-IV program ever becoming aware, because ONI would probably keep him officially listed as MIA so he could keep doing their dirty work (making entire rebel militia groups disappear) without any kind of official connection. Something along those lines.
Bungie never confirmed the fate of Noble-6 as to leave it up to the player’s imagination… but judging by the sheer number of “he’s dead” posts here, the majority of players have no imagination at all.
Even if he did survive, is he going to live off the corpses of his enemies? Water? How many years would he be living like that?

I could definitely see this happening! And like the reason why Noble Six was absent throughout later conflicts of the Human-Covenant War was because he was in recovery and in the care of ONI.
Also I can see Noble Six becoming a D-6 Operative, considering how they primarily deal with wetwork and counterinsurgency operations.

I know right? I set up this thread so I can get players to think of theories regarding Noble Six’s fate – whether he died or he managed to escape.
in the books, mc came to reach to see if any survivors were on Reach. They might’ve found him but never said it.

Or Noble Six might’ve found a way off Reach by himself, and returned to ONI, who would’ve kept his survival a secret ever since, considering he’s one of their best agents and has been known to wipe out entire rebel militia with ruthless efficiency. Not the kind of operative ONI would want the public to know about.

True too but since he is after all you
I’d be really interesting to see noble six return, but sadly. it’s a 9/10 chance he’s dead. Sorry.
