So what ever happened to Dr. Halsey wanting revenge? From what I watched of Halo 5’s campaign on YouTube it kind of seems like 343i completely forgot about that part or are disregarding what happened in Halo 4 especially when it comes to how she interacts with Palmer. Any thoughts?

Lol there is nothing in the books that explains Halsey’s sudden change of mind. The comic may be leading up to that answer, but we still have… Two more chapters to wrap up the spartan ops sequel. One on 10/28, and the last one next month. That’ll likely explain what the campaign may not.
I mean, I kind of was under the impression that she realized Jul would kill her anyway and the only thing that would keep her alive is working directly with Jul in the forseeable future. Once she got the low down on what was going on, her increased knowledge gives her value for ONI not to kill her. Basically she pulled a double agent role. But thats just how I filled in the blanks.
