Seriously it was a huge let down to see cortana die at the very end. They better find a good way to bring her back in Halo 5 because this is seriously bothering me. Please leave a comment on what you think of this.

That’s a pretty toolbag statement.
I haven’t been able to play it that much, and my friends always want me to do multiplayer. That’s not “fair” at all.
If you haven’t completed the campaign i don’t understand why you are on the forums anyway. Change your title though. Note my post will contain spoilers.
Back on topic, Cortana had better come back otherwise 343 have just took Bungie’s legacy and destroyed it. i don’t think Cortana is gone from the series however because of a number of reasons. Firstly in mission two she gives us a possible solution to her rampancy, this would just be a slap in the face of the fans if they give us hope just to take it away. secondly at the end of the game the Didact speak about humanity being the greatest threat to the galaxy, if he has survived the events that took place on his ship its possible Cortana could have to. Lastly 343 have stated that this shall be a trilogy based on the master chief and developing his character, they also stated that the main way Chief expresses himself to the player is through Cortana by conversing with her. i don’t see how they can flesh out the chiefs character without Cortana.
So in short i do not believe that cortana has ever died and if i had to put my money on it id say we’re going to get hints or maybe even a definite answer to that question through the story told in spartan ops.
i’d also like to say that 343 has done an excellent with halo 4 and i cant wait to play the future games (hears to a halo 3 remake on the new xbox )

I was going to use harsher adjectives than “toolbag” but I held my tongue.
