For those who have finished the campaign, do you think they will bring her back in the future halo games?
I don’t think she died.
I think the Librarian might have kept a copy of her when she snatched Cortana out of the terminal. Maybe in Halo 5 MC might need to search for the Librarian and she will have the “repaired” Cortana…
Well considering when she ‘dies’ she is surrounded by data, I highly doubt she would be dead. Halo 5 will probably largely revolve around finding some mysterious figure who knows how to stop the Forerunners (or whatever else appears in 5) which turns out to be Cortana

If anything they just started to flesh out Cortana’s character, something Bungie couldn’t do in 3 games. It would be a shame to see a character that had alot of potential to deepen a story be killed off in the first game of the trilogy…
I hope she didn’t. She was my favorite character and I will not enjoy Halo 5 or Halo 6 if she is not in it in some way.
That said, I loved that she was so prominent in the game for 8 missions. It’s the most she’s been in a game at all, since she was absent for some of CE, not in most Halo 2 missions, and absent from most of Halo 3.
They finally give her some development that isn’t just her being gone from the Chief for some time.
I’m sure she won’t die.
But why’d they make the ending so cheesy and sad?
Welle, 343 was telling that halo 5 ist going to be darker than everything bevor. So maybe good (dont misunderstand me I kinda cryd the hell out of my xbox as she died) that she died because a halo without her would be sad and dark, and Master Chief without her only a robot. I guess she will Come back but 343 gonna wait till we and MC beg and prey for IT.
