[SPOILER] Possible reason why the Didact...

…is against the Chief : Because John may have the geas of Faber or the Librarian or even the geas of the Didact himself .

It’s a wild guess considering we haven’t heard much about the motives behind the Didact’s antagonism throughout Halo 4 .

Nice double post.

Yeahh those weren’t on purpose . My internet was lagging really bad and when it came to I found that this thread triple posted …

I’ve heard this theory before. Some have actually said that Geas could explains John’s “luck”. I don’t know about that, but overall I think the theory is at least plausible.

> Nice double post.

But the OP only posted once…

Edit: Sorry, just noticed the other thread.

It’s obvious humans have a geas. Primordium pretty much said as much. Spark even mentions he has to “measure the pitch of [their] geas” in the first Anniversary terminal.

I’m beginning to wonder if the ancient evil is really the geas embedded in Cortana’s code (meaning the geas that are present within Halsey)

Triple.

Did not read because of the spoiler taG THOUGH.

if it as anyone’s geas it would be the librarians since all her plans work with “luck”

Then that would be an awesome twist in the story if it were true .

If Chief has a geas, it’s probably Bornstellar.

My own theory comes down to the Forerunner Trilogy ending with Bornstellar actually eventually having to face the Didact over the Halo-Shield debate, eventually ending with the Didact being forced back into the Cryptim to remain imprisoned on his Shield World.
