Did anyone else not notice what the players looked like in the leaked mode. They definately not spartans looked like black exoskin with light plated yellow armor my opinion is its infected forrunners with the combat armor. So im thinking leaked mode is forruner vs flood. Would be amazing if true guess we will have to wait and see.

It’s infection, but the infected now play as the Flood, they have claws for weapons and enhanced vision

As I’ve stated in another thread, to me they look much more like the lambent from the Gears of war series, and frankly I prefer Bungie’s fungus-like flood forms.
I’m also pretty sure Spartans can’t be infected by the flood due to their augmentations and armour, Johnson being an example of this despite the fact that he’s only a Spartan I. They’re just normal human flood forms.
Im going to go ahead and say its forrunners vs flood. 343i did say for the players who loved invasion would be very pleased with a new mode they have yet to share with us. It makes sense
If you look closely the infected form still has it’s helmet on, and it’s a Recruit helmet. Pretty sure Forerunners didn’t wear those.
Im pretty shure helmets dont have mouths plus the whole head is fully mutated. And pretty sure spartans dont just wear exoskin and light plated armor

The whole head isn’t mutated, there’s a growth on top of it and that’s really it.
I dont undetstand how yall are looking at that image i can see how you would be confused but from your prospective it would mean there helmet/skull was elongated. The part yall are confusing as a visor is an open mouth and there are two white eyes above that

The helmet is not the same color as rest of the infected parts of the Spartan, and the helmet just so happens to look exactly like Recruit. Same visor shape and all. Plus, the Flood doesn’t have mouths.

And of course the inside of the mouth would not be the same color as the rest of the infected part. You say floid dont have mouths it may very well be a change just like every thing about halo 4 is chaged. But still if thats a visor why would they have clearly shown eyeballs. It would make them look stupid with long heads

I’m not saying the visor is a different color, even though it is, but the actual helmet part is. Near these “eyes” (which flood also don’t have) there is a cut off line where the color suddenly changes and there is a clear line where the flood biomatter pulls back.
Also, aesthetic changes that have canonical explanations are not the same as suddenly adding eyes and mouths to the Flood. First off, the Flood don’t eat or talk, so why add mouths? Second, they use a different type of sensory organ that allows them to see, they’re the flagella-like things that are on every Flood form.

It honestly looks more like some kind of natural monster than it looks like Flood. Flood have a distinct, unique look to them. Those could be any kind of normal zombies.
Now, I can understand hitboxes, you want the head where the head goes. But honestly, it’s friggin Infection, who gives a -Yoink- where the head is? Just give players classic combat forms where you have to shoot the infection form inside the chest to get a headshot.

No, they are not on these infection forms. Likely because the infection process is not advanced enough yet, so the Flood is still using the hosts’s senses until it can grow its own organs. If you look closely you can see them starting to grow under the infected arm.
