[SPOILER CRYPTUM] Forerunner's technology and ships

WARNING TO NOT VIEW THIS THREAD UNLESS YOU READ THE BOOK DO NOT VIEW THE TEXT BELOW.

So what do we know about the forerunner’s ships? Their classes and power? Let’s reread and post it on this thread.

Fortress-Class: 50 kilometers and sometimes perhaps 100km in length with a huge hemispher on the foward end, a midlevel series of layered plataforms equipped with launch bays and gun mounts, and below that a long, weapon-studded tail. At their widest they were ten kilometers across and could carry hundreds of thousands of warriors, aswell as automated phalanxes that could be guided by warriors at a ratio of one to a million weapon-ships. They can house thousands of swift attack vessels

Hard light: The forerunners aparently use hard light as shielding, decorations, door locking mechanisms, bridges and a few other things.

The Fortress class ship reminded me of High Charity, but I could be picturing it wrong

> The Fortress class ship reminded me of High Charity, but I could be picturing it wrong

Maybe they based High Charity on the fortress class? Well look at high charity again, the tail part is different than the description but it’s a bit similar. More more more ships and technology!

I also kept looking for descriptions of the Keyships (like in H2/H3) or the Dreadnaughts (like in HW/Origins). God I love this book.

Grim

I’d like to see how the humans dealed with these ships 10k years ago.

Actually, life during the Forrunners was pretty dull until the flood invasion.

I should update this thread soon O_O

Why? also, how do you do the spoiler rollover thing.

I left it a long time ago… I’m not done with it. Going to update it probably when I finish reading it for the third time.
Try it to find it, use the same concept and obvious stuff. Use edit to try it.

Use the hard angled brackets instead of the regular ones below, like this:

(spoiler) write your text here (/spoiler)

You got it! [:)]

Hey it’s that Ericky guy from HWF. It is I the name changing shapeshifter dude.

Anyways, don’t forget about the DREADNAUGHTS

I’m going to start taking notes soon and I’ll see how much info I can get.

That’s not enough. I want lots of notes, too bad the computer Kobo doesn’t have notes so I’ll have to do it on a word document.
I’ll probably have to use in-document links.

Look at the bottom of the page. Virtually every Forerunner ship and anything Forerunner related has a page of its own.

I know but that lacks the details I want to get.

As of this moment, I’m at 1% in the book, chapter 1 page 6/36 and I have 8 articles so far.
Bornstellar, Edom, Personal armour, Ancilla, Bornstellar’s father, Rate, Form, Mutation.
Everytime I find something about them, I’m going to write it down that way I’ll get as much information as possible. The table of contents links to the articles.
