Splockets is better - laser has less lag

Please consider returning to Splockets. The railgun really, really suffers from a host advantage or when the game’s laggy. I routinely hit people dead-on in this game type with a railgun, and they’re absolutely unfazed. And yet, it seems like their railgun projectiles are absolutely magnetized to my head, or seem to impact around me and still kill me.

The laser’s also suffered going from Reach to Halo 4 (I’m able to land direct hits on Warthogs and they won’t blow up), but it’s miles better than the railgun for lag at this point. And until connection matching is implemented, it’s much better than railgun in a rockets gametype.

I like the lack of a tracking beam.

I don’t want that game type to change at all. It is fine the way it is!!

I don’t understand your reasoning.

The Railgun has a lot of magnetism. The Laser has little, if any at all. If anything the Laser would suffer more in a laggy environment.

The Railgun is also there to prevent people from flying across the map 24/7. Would be hard to achieve that with the Laser.

The problem is that the Spartan Laser takes way too long to charge compared to Halo 3 and even Reach.
