Any ideas when you think they’ll show off splitscreen for multiplayer or couch co-op within the campaign?
When the game releases
They’d probably put something like that in a blog post closer to launch, if they even show it at all.

It probably won’t get highlighted much prior to launch. Split screen doesn’t produce the best looking footage for promotion.

Its hard to show off, but its also one of the features I am most excited for, losing it in Halo 5 was heartbreaking.
They have said the blog post about multiplayer that split screen will be on Xbox when they game launches. Pc will only get local LAN play which is a little disappointing but expected. I doubt they will have videos showcasing split screen because usually it’s not as great for a viewer to watch split screen when you could just have a whole screen instead of two or four mini ones to see gameplay. Maybe they show a couple of seconds of it in a vidoc or something but that will probably be all we get before launch. A flight may let you test the ability of split screen though.

343 calls their pre-release content flights, so don’t go booking any trips. It’s confirmed Infinite will have split-screen, but when or if we see it prior to launch is not confirmed.

Yes indeed 343 uses the term “technical tests” or “insider flighting” to refer to their alphas or beta tests. The only way to participate in these will be to sign up for Halo Insider. I would love to visit 343 Studios one day but sadly that won’t be any time soon for me. I can see 343 wanting to have split screen be in at least one of the flights but maybe not the first one.
