Is wanting them to add splitscreen really worth ruining the game over? ? I love playing couch coop as much as the next guy, but I also would HATE to continue to play Halo in 30fps, at this point Halo needs 60fps. On pc 30 fps is a thing of the past, so why cant it be on the nest generation of Halo?

So I had a Halo 4 LAN party just this weekend. It was awesome as always! After most of the people went home there were 4 of us left so we hopped on to live split-screen on a projector.
Now, I’m a huge supporter of split screen, but playing live with 4 players really was tough.The lag wasn’t bad if it even existed, but I realized just how hard it was to play with lower frame rates. So did my buddies. It didn’t help that it was like 2am at this point and the people we were getting matched up with were ridiculously good, but I guess what I’m trying to say is I get your point.
Having said that, I want the feature to be available to me. Even if I use it on occasion, it would be nice to have it should I want to use it (even with crappy visuals). Really I mostly play local network only, and that is what I am most bummed about missing out on.
The death of Halo night could be enough to have me put off buying Halo 5 (and an XBOne) until I can get it used. I’m honestly still not sure yet.
Split screen is worth going 30 Frames per Second. People exaggerate the importance of 60 frames. 30 frames would not be ruining the game in any way, you’re over exaggerating a bit.
It has been an essential part of Halo history. My friends and family will be sad when they come visit can’t play it with me.
Its just my opinion but there is a huge difference. Especially in a fps like halo. Do your friends who you play halo with not own ones?
Plenty of games run 60fps in fullscreen and 30fps in splitscreen.
Splitscreen doesn’t mean the game can’t have 60fps.
Thats true. If they can add it without compromising the game when you play full screen I am down.
