Played some matchmaking solo and things were going well,Matchmaking of course worked VASTLY better than MCC, even with the limited population.
Then, tried to get one friend to join locally for splitscreen matchmaking and there’s major audio problems, rendering glitches and the game lags and freezes like crazy. Did they really ignore the splitscreen component of Reach? It’s like 343/Microsoft are purposely trying to destroy Halo. Yes 343, please keep selling half baked products.
Has anyone gotten online splitscreen to work on Reach?

On the 360, frames drop are to be expected in Firefight’s bonus rounds and few missions like Tip of Spear.
Loadings that occurs right in the middle of a mission can make the game freeze for a short moment even though they aren’t common on 360 (the only loading that make the game freeze everytime is the one that despawn the two AA in The Package) .

No this is more like freezing to the point of unplayablity. I dont mind some dropped frames or lag, but its like the game completely glitches out with audio problems, rendering problems, severe lag and finally freezing.
I used to play split screen way back, and I always had this problem when I opened the xbox menu. I fixed it by hard restarting my xbox.
I’m having the same issues.Just bought it from best buy platinum hits Halo reach. I tried the hard restart on mine and its still glitches in split screen. Does it seem to make a difference with a original Halo reach or the platinum hits version?
I realize they are probably the same game just in different packaging but never can be too sure
