Has there been any new information regarding splitscreen, LAN or co-op? I watched the 13 minute vidoc on multiplayer yesterday and never once saw any sort of splitscreen or couch co-op. There were 4 TVs and 4 Xboxes right next to one another in a few of the shots so I’m hopeful at least it will support LAN out of the gate.
Bonnie Ross promised that all future versions of Halo would support splitscreen but I’m a bit surprised they didn’t show any of that. Did I miss something?

They have a ton to still show so I wouldn’t be worried. E3 isn’t the place for those type of semantics.

Maybe, but if I was them I would have shown a family playing Halo together on the couch in splitscreen against their cousins down the block or co-op together on a campaign level. I mean that’s what I missed the most about Guardians. Hopefully, you’re right and they will include it.

Google is free and way easier to question there than create a whole post about it, it was said multiple times over a year ago that Infinite will have Split Screen.

It’s I think a 2 player splitscreen.

> Halo Infinite will have split-screen co-op at launch, reaffirms 343 Industries | GamesRadar+
That link/post was from 10 months ago. 343 confirmed Guardians would have splitscreen in January of its release year and right before the 4th of July weekend in a Twitter post said it would not. So…no, that is not confirmation or re-affirmation that it is in the game. Unfortunately, 343 has a track record of going back on its promises or plans to include splitscreen. Google did not help with new information since E3; hence, the topic.
I’m pretty sure they confirmed 4 player split screen for multiplayer a while ago. Not sure if that’s just for local play or online play as well. They did confirm 2 player split screen for the campaign back in July of 2020.
The norm before halo 5 was 4 player split screen for local and online multiplayer, and 2 player split screen for campaign. Hopefully they return to that for Infinite.

I am suspecting that the deeper dives will occur closer to release date.
