Split screen topics should not be shot down.

Do not discuss forum moderation or repost locked content.

Recently, I’ve taken to reading through the various splitscreen threads because I’m interested as to what the community thoughts are concernign the matter. I was just about to share my opinion, scrolling to the bottom of the page only to find the “reply” button has disappeared. So it got locked, but that certainly can’t be true of… the others… oh, great.
They’ve all been locked.
Okay, so what happened? I’ve read and been told they’re opening them up again at a latter date but why does that matter? The subject is hot now, and it’s something the people enjoy discussing. By preventing the community from speaking their mind you are taking away freedom. And that is something I will not stand for.
A forum is a place where people from all walks of life can gather and speak freely concerning different topics. By taking that freedom you are tarnishing what forums are meant to be.
But whatever. Go ahead and lock those threads, heck, lock this one too since it borders on supposed heresy. At least I know I was brave enough to speak my mind.

You do realise these kind of rants should be PM’ed to the mods, right?

It is, and always has been against the rules to have multiple topics all based upon the same subject.
