For all the people on this forum arguing about things which aren’t actually that important, why not take the time to turn your attention to something that really made a difference in every other Halo game in a good way but not in Halo 5. There is a petition for split-screen functionality to be added onto Halo 5 and I think all these people on the forum will really make a difference if they signed it, they’re currently at 11,000 and aim for 15,000. It’s not happening not going to happen in H5. They already stated they can’t do. No how many signatures you get it won’t happen. They already stated they will have it back in H6. So this is a dead link

I disagree with split-screening. The company not only mentioned how it’ll reduce the quality of the game, but I refuse to have TimmyNoThumbs and his pet dog playing on my team in multiplayer.

They said backwards compatibility was impossible… look at Xbox now after so many people complained and PS4 did it. It can be changed you just have to find enough people to make a difference.

True, but with split screen you could fill your team with all your good friends making no space for Timmy and his dog =D, also your point about the graphics, I don’t think many people will mind if they can play with friends on one Xbox.

pffft split screen. Old and outdated. This petition is a joke. 1080p/60fps > split screen. It’s more important than split screen, too. Stop trying to ruin Halo 5 for everyone else.

Not asking you to play split-screen, just asking them to give the feature, and it wont ruin Halo 5 because they can maintain the graphics for people playing solo quite easily.

I don’t mind getting 1080/30fps for the fun of playing split-screen even though I’m soloing most of my Halo 5 gameplay. I just miss those campaign marathon with friend over. But again, I don’t think that would be implemented in the game as 343i clearly stated it will not return in Halo 5

They never said it was impossible. In fact PlayStation 2 did it. They said they didn’t want to because they were afraid they would lose money.
