When searching any unranked playlist with a guest in the lobby, the search will end after about 20 seconds as if someone presses “B” and exit back to the playlist menu. Does not have the issue if there is no guest. Has worked fine up until the latest Xbox update. Issue has been ongoing for about 3 days.

It can happen without a guest. You’ll be party leader for your group then like you said it backs everyone out.
Anyone find a fix for this yet?
I had this problem as well just on Saturday. I believe it is a known issue, but haven’t seen anything official that I know of.

I am having the same issue. Matchmaking with guest does not work. Its really annoying. Thats the only reason i play xbox. Halo multiplayer when friends come over. How can we get this problem known to its developer, or how can we escalate this problem?
Same issue here. Went through 3 techs, they’re all useless. One even told me to purchase the game again! So pissed.
