Is it in any way possible for 343 to add split-screen to Halo 5? If Fortnite could do it I am very certain that 343 can do it and it would be a very good way to revive the game.

A very small team is managing Halo 5: Guardians at this point in its life and that is only the online aspect of the game. If split-screen wasn’t available at launch, or brought with any updates over the past five years, it most definitely won’t be coming now; not with the companies focus on Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo: Infinite.
They could bring Halo 5 to the Master Chief Collection and bring it with split-screen? I think that would be a good idea right?

Seeing as Halo 5: Guardians is already on the Xbox One, adding it to the collection would be pointless. Besides, you can already launch Halo 5: Guardians from Halo: The Master Chief Collection. That is as close as it is ever going to get.

I doubt split screen will ever be added at this point in H5s life cycle. H5 also does not need to go to the MCC. There is no reason to port H5 into an older game that already takes up an obscene amount of hard drive space, and that is notorious for having technical issues. I think both H5 and the MCC will run better if they stay separate

It’s not possible for split screen to be added to Halo 5 - along with the team having no resources to work on something like this, there are engine limitations that prevent it from functioning which is why it was never added at launch. There are also no plans to bring Halo 5 to MCC. That in itself would be a massive undertaking, especially with things like the REQ system.
