So now i sit down start playing xbox again halo, i find out split screen for halo 5 has been taken out and won’t be in halo 5,
that’s like the only reason why i would buy the game. playing since halo 1, Each time i play halo,
it’s mostly split screen with my father, brother, and friends. that game bring family close without the rage
like all call of duty gives for it’s cheap game play. I know 343 won’t really care if they lose 1 fan.
But most people play split screen, it’s what we grew up doing playing halo most our life’s.
Halo is the best game i played, but if 343 wants to keep ripping me off my money,
i would cancel my halo 5 Pre order and just go buy a Ps4. It’s like 343 started following
Bungie just as they started following the call of duty franchise to steal out money on clip games that got Nerf like destiny.
Playing halo has been an awesome experience, but 343 destroying splitscreen .
Might not even get halo 5. so far already sold my xbox one. we will see if i buy halo 5.

Its gone maybe Halo 6 will have it and if you sold your console then idk what to say. Try out the ps4?
You are like 2 month late to the party. This has already been discussed to death. Im also sad to see split screen go, i have nice memories of playing with my friends and family and it would be a petty to lose a halo fan, but please stop making more of this posts

I play split screen everyday with halo, it’s a shame they took out it out.
i might be late about this, but to be honest, this split screen was a connection for some of my friend to play xbox,
it’s something we all did and enjoy.like we even chip money in for halo 5 and a new xbox one.
but now it’s really just a turn down for what and our experiences playing this game will die out.
There plenty of other games out there with split screen.
Most games i play have split screen, if not, they are 360 game because i own 4 xbox 300’s i got for free, so i play with friends and family in my house on different screens.
But i’m not here to keep spending money on games that will turn into another call of duty

You mean an issue that shouldn’t have been there in the first place? They locked the games mechanics to 60 fps. Thus, when split screen couldn’t maintain sixty, the game would no longer work and so split screen got the chop. Now imagine if the gameplay its self couldn’t maintain 60 (which it couldn’t! They had to introduce this “dynamic resolution” which is basically an admission that they have to lower the fidelity in some scenes to keep their 60 fps) The entire game would be broken.

Well if you factor in what splitscreen would likely run at for 2 to 4 players about 244P and 15FPS in each window so no I’d rather just do the online thing. Heck I see my friends in person and would rather not ride caboose on splitscreen while hanging out.

Halo is trying to become another call of duty, Why would they even add a hidden aim bot system, that kills the game it’s self, that kills the skill in halo, people need to learn how to get good, not just be good as soon as we play, that explains why we so many kids playing call of duty, they all want to be MLG, halo should stick to it’s old skill factor and keep staying on a skilled level instead of adding sneaky stuff into games like halo 4 and adding bullet curve system for little kids, that’s basically boosting kills and stats in a legit way, you guys are supporting it.

Please elaborate. Because Halo 5 plays more like traditional Halo than Halo 4 or even Reach did. Also the game has no hidden aim bots, no handicaps and the aim assist is practically non-existent which is not only rare for a console based shooter but a lot more skill based.
