Does it feel like they happen whenever they feel like it. Is it a problem with the game or servers.
when i was working on mastering splatter commendation, i had a few times where it should’ve killed the player, but it didn’t. then there are times when i went so slow that it shouldn’t have killed the person, but it did anyway haha.
It feels as though they happen whenever a Ghost makes even a minuscule amount of contact with a player, regardless of the speed at which it is travelling. I dislike it intensely.

True. But I never noticed it happen so much.
I can’t splatter people in a ghost going full speed for the life of me, yet I’ve gotten more splatters in a mongoose than I have in any other Halo game combined.
I feel like Splatters are extremely inconsistent in Halo 4.
Teammates have betrayed me by barely touching my toe, yet I’ve rammed enemies going full speed only to have them survive.
I’ve ran into vehicles that were barely moving in attempt to board only to kill myself on their bumper.
I’ve been in a ghost at full speed and rammed players head on only for them to walk away without a scratch.
It’s extremely annoying and much worse than past titles.
i’d agree that it seems like the effectiveness of splatters is inconsistent. The new timing for jumping to avoid ghosts is kinda hard to get used to as well.

They increased hitbox sizes on the bottom of the spartans feet, lol.
hit a guy in ragnarok with the warthog, full speed, litterally pushed him across the map more or less, and he jacked my ride.
Anybody else notice the inconsistency of hijacking killing the hijack-y? Sometimes ill get jacked and die instantly, other times im full shields/health and just jack it back, i dunno, it’s strange
Splattering is a big issue, surprised I haven’t seen another topic about it. As everyone has said and I agree, its very inconsistent.
