Splattering is OP, Buff gunners though!

As I said in the title, Splattering is op plz nerf.

No but seriously its kind of ridiculous how easy it is to splatter

Upon close inspection I THINK he just took out my shield at that speed…which is still ridiculous

I died from a BR shot after he bumped my shields :slight_smile:

So its not as bad as I thought but gunners still need a buff :confused:

Yeah, i feel like splattering with Ghosts hard when splattering with a Scorpion is very easy.

this is my issue, i come full speed and clip them and they just jump away

Buff the Mantis. That thing is garbage and I barely see anyone with good gameplays on YouTube using the thing.

There’s no stomp compilations because it doesn’t kill lol, every time I stomp near an enemy Spartan they just basically teleport onto my mantis and poof, goodbye to the shiny req 7 yellow Corp mantis

Splatter is unbalanced, ghost goes 1mph and you die, wraith goes 1 mph and you die, banshee going full speed and you don’t even get your shields down. Warthog going full speed and you don’t even lose shields.

Agree, Ghost at normal speed can kill someone. I think, sure feels like it.

Ghost rolling full speed, boost on…hits someone, loses shield, nothing else.
Brush a teammate with a warthog…dead.
Maybe its my connection.

Rams enemy full speed = Bounces off, looses shields

Just barely taps teammate = Dies

Personally I think Splattering has been nerfed in Halo 5. Many times I have hit someone at full speed and just took down their shields, it can be quite ridiculous at times. In previous titles if I rammed someone at full pace I could be more certain that it would get me a kill and not leave me open to be boarded.

As for Warthog gunners, I do perhaps think standard warthogs could do with a little buff. They are far too open and can be took out by a single player with a BR fairly quickly, the chainguns damage isn’t nearly as good as it should be to counter this. ONI and Gausshogs though, they’re fine the way they are

I think or believe Splatting with ghost should be taken down, specially when you jump over, only to have your feet “barely” touch and BAM dead. Should just be lose of shields or something…

I just wish that warthog gunners were just a little bit harder to kill. I don’t have much issue with splattering, but it always feels like it only takes like 4 or 5 BR shots to take out a warthog gunner, I think only power weapons should be able to kill them that fast.

That has less to do with overall speed and more to do with the covie vehicles boost acting as an oversized spartan charge.

in previous Halo titles, the gunner had a protective shield on the turret. if you were facing the enemy you couldnt BR him easily. i feel like the shield should be added back in

splattering is messed up. ive been killed by an enemy slightly moving to the side. ive had my shields taken down numerous times when the vehicle was a full speed but it didnt kill me. at times i will try to splatter someone on a ghost only to be launched into the air without getting the kill. i dont think splatter is OP it is just not functioning properly. if it were OP i wouldnt be flying into the air or just lowering someones shields at full speed. it needs to be tweeked, not just nerfed.

the vehicles in this game are just pretty unbalanced. the BR makes it so that any regular vehicle can be killed almost instantly with team work no matter how good the driver is. warthog gunners can be picked off EASILY.

I don’t think it needs nerfing, just fixing. Say I’m driving a ghost, I bump slightly into a teammate, and they die. If this happens again, I’ll be kicked and it won’t look good on my record. See what I mean?
