Splatter physics

what the hell did you do to them, 343?

hooray for slamming into someone full speed just to break their shields

Yeah, noticed that too.

Almost made me cry

just one more -Yoink- up on 343’s part

Now I personally wouldn’t mind having H:CE splatter physics; touching a moving vehicle means kill.
Dodging a warthong or even a ghost in Halo:CE - now that was skill.

Wouldn’t matter anyways, the DMR just rapes every vehicle known to man, even diamond coated tanks

The vehicles handle damage slightly better than they did in Reach, but a DMR can still send a Warthog into a barrel roll which is flat out dumb. Has anyone got a successful splatter with a Mongoose? Mine just goes right thru people dealing no damage.

Stop over-exaggerating. The DMR doesn’t really do THAT much damage to vehicles.

Yeah, occasionally I get one, but most of the time I end up knocking the shields off and that’s if I’m able to make it to an enemy without being torn apart by a saw or dmr.

My DMR must be defective…

I guessing you don’t understand how lightly armored the hog really is.

Light armored does not mean bullet proof it’s resistant to small arms up to a point. Dmr us not a light weight.

Halo 3 had the same problems. I’d ram a guy with a goose or hog at speed and they would walk away with no shields.

I have killed more teammates backing up then I have going full speed into an enemy.

For shame.

The splatter physics in Halo 2 and 3 were the best (while CE was by far the worst, it was absolutely terrible) but I don’t mind Halo 4’s.

Agreed and I have no problem splattering people…

The splatter physics are crazy.
Ive gotten splatters with the mongoose while barely moving (they were shooting the mongoose, slowing it down to a near halt) and Ive gotten a few when moving at mid speed. Never at full speed though.

And when in the ghost, I could hit someone head on and hear the crash, but instead of seeing them die, I see them either keep walking or hijack me.

Also, Ive been splattered by the invisible battering ram that the banshee has.
I tried skyjacking it, and the invisible battering ram killed me. I watched in theater, nothing actually hit me.
Fun.

If you check my fileshare you’ll see I have a clip that shows me ramming into a dude with my ghost full speed and he doesn’t even take shield damage.

When I run into someone with a ghost, I’m usually the one who ends up dying because the ghost flips over.

Is this game a sequel or prequel?! Why is the tech getting worse?!

Sounds about right
