I went into a Warzone match and snagged somebody’s Ghost, and I proceeded to run into 3 enemy players. However, none of them died! And these were head on, “enemies didn’t move out of the way”-type hits. I mean full body hits. However, when someone tries to Splatter me, it feels like I am extremely fragile as I will jump to dodge and them slightly hitting my foot results in my death. What the hell!
It just feels that Splatter isn’t as balanced as it used to be and it feels busted and broken. Anyone else agree?
here idk if you look at my medals, 19 splatters in one game says its working just fine,

That isn’t the point. What I’m trying to figure out is why I have hit people full on without them dying, yet the slightest hit on me causes my death. It makes absolutely no sense.
it is very inconstant. ill full speed ram someone and just launch them across the map
The had probably had the over shield mod turned on.
I have found that sometimes I will hit an enemy player with the ghost and they will be “dragged” for a bit and their shields would be lost but they would not die. Other times I will clip someones shoulder without even boosting and they will die. I just assumed it was connection issues

i feel i have the same problem
Yeah, stuff like this happens sometimes
But most of the time it works.
It’s been broken since H4, I’ve never had this issue in Reach or any game before. I can’t really speak about H5, because I only played about 11 hours, but if you have the issue where you ram an enemy at full speed and they don’t die or you accidentally tap an ally as lightly as possible and they die and get thrown across the map then it’s the same issue.

Its because he clambered you can do that to avoid splatter

I experienced it too. I once hit a enemy at full speed and he only lost his shields. While sometimes I get killed by a ghost because it is turnig around a low speed…
I don’t know if this helps, but I have noticed that if the enemy is running away from you, the speed differential (your speed minus their speed) seems to reduce the damage they take. Meaning you have to go faster if the enemy is moving away from you than you would need to go if they are running at you or standing still. If you boost at enemies running away I have noticed it helps.
Also I have a suspicion that the ‘wings’ of the ghost do more damage than the body of it.
