Spirit of Fire in next Halo?

So in that Glasslands thing (on the bulletin) did Sarah and the Spartans find the Spirit Of Fire with Spartan Red Team?

If they did, you think they’ll reunite (or try to find) Mr. John after he basically goes crazy after losing Cortana?

Just a few corrections for you :

  1. It’s Halo Escalation
  2. Spartan Red Team? That’s Fireteam Majestic.

And to warn everybody that hasn’t read the comic yet, spoilers ahead.

No, they did not find the Spirit of Fire. It was actually a space station with a glassing beam. The Insurrectionists/Rebels/ex-Covenant Terrorists/whatever set up a trap that made them believe that they would find the Spirit of Fire, which proved to be false.I’m not too sure what John has to do with all of this though…

They are probably saving it for if there is a halo wars 2.

Or maybe when the flood return, they will have everybody on that ship.

or maybe it will woosh in and save us at the last minute in a future campaign.

I for one would LOVE to see the Spirit of Fire back, actively, in Halo.

As the host of the “Spirit of Fire” podcast as well, this has even more special meaning for me. (Yes, you can find it on iTunes as well as my website: halofanforlife.com - okay, enough self promotion…)

I’m not fully up-to-speed on Halo canon outside of the H4 game and the Forerunner trilogy, so I’m surely missing some things.

But my guess is we’ll connect with the ship hijacked in Silentium before we meet SoF.

We’d get to play around in Cyclops and grizzly if it returns

According to Spartan Assault the UNSC still has the grizzly around. Its just not in halo games since we don’t really need 2 tanks.

I would love to see the SoF make a comeback. With Halo 5 being darker in tone. Maybe the SoF will return to find earth in ruins and that’s what the “captain something’s happened is.”

Probably nowhere near what’ll really happen, but still.

Although they did not prove that they don’t have possession of the Spirit of Fire. I mean maybe Clayton went searching for the Spirit of Fire in search of his father and found it. I think the Spirit of Fire will have a reveal at some point, but not for a long time.

  1. no need to be snobby
  2. Red Team is ON the Spirit of Fire
  3. They’re Spartan 2s like John.

Maybe you should read and understand before you post

When did he ever deny that?

I don’t recall him denying that either.

Perhaps you should do the same. Very little of what you accused him of was actually existent.

Why don’t you go Yoink yourself?

He said “that’s fire team majestic” and I said WITH S.O.F. as in Red Team. Duh.

He asked what they had to do with John, and they’re Spartan 2s, like him
