Spire remake impossible?

So, I’m thinking about remaking spire from halo reach. I’m pretty good at making realistic terrain with walls (so that’s not an issue). I’m stumped on how to go about making the lifts…

Okay, here’s a list on what different types of lifts there are and how I think I may able to make them:

Ground lifts: [need help]
-stack gravity lifts (not sure if it makes the effect stronger though)
-use a lame teleporter

Spire lifts: [need help]
-maybe place one way shield doors close to each other? (I think the limit is 6 though)

Ground “catchers”: [i think I can successfully pull these off without help]
-one way shield doors
-weak grav lifts
-dominion shield doors [neutral]

As you can tell, I’m horribly stumped. Suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Oh, and I almost forgot…I want the top floor of the spire to be transparent (just like it was in reach) but I’m not sure what to use because colisieum windows aren’t completely flat when walked on. Players will get snagged and find themselves having to jump; that just ruins everything :frowning:

Please reply! I want to hear your thoughts!

I think a very tall player trait zone could work as the elevator, just modify the gravity/jump hight and it may work.

Oh yeah, you’re right. I guess I’m still thinking back in the old days (halo 3 and reach forges). Thank goodness for trait zones.

I was considering double stacked grav volumes a moment ago, but then I would have to make the shafts at LEAST 5x5 for them to fit.

No problem, also for an accurate remake of the elevators, make sure the trait zones have a low movement speed so you cant move out of them. Then at the top of the Spire’s elevators you can add grav lifts at the end of the trait zones to push people out (and so they don’t fall back down).

That is an awesome idea. Mind sufficiently blown.

Did anything come of this at all? I would love to see a Spire remake.
