So, after Halo 4, i’m wondering where the future (or past) may take us in the haloverse. I’m pretty sure that we’ll get some sort of spinoff before halo 5, and i’m going to post some of my ideas of halo games i would buy in a heartbeat.
Halo: Headhunters.
After reading the Evolutions story, i found myself wanting to learn more about the headhunters. These 2 man teams did the special missions only the best of the best could do, ranging from assassination, to recon to sabotage, and i love the stealth type missions we’ve seen throughout the halo games. Halo: Headhunters could satisfy the itch for a stealth based Halo game. The headhunters had VISR and active camo as well!
Halo: Chronicles of War.
This game would be full of missions from all around the Haloverse, including before, during and after the great war. You would play as some main characters from the timeline, such as Sgt. Johnson, Buck, or even characters from the novels or completely new people! You would see the key events of Halo from the viewpoints of soldiers tasked to the job, and could fill the gap in the Halo history for those who have not read/viewed the other Halo media.
Halo: Covenant.
Just a general idea, a game centered around the covenant, playing as elites in conquests agaist the humans.
Halo: ODST 2.
Either continuing where Halo 3 ODST left off, or somewhere else with a different squad. Possible prequel with older, grittier weaponry? Imagine creeping through a swamp with a combat knife, sneaking up on unsuspecting jackal scouts, the glint of moonlight on the blade and the gentle swashing of the murky water on your boots. Or set it within the Kilo 5 squad, with Naomi helping out.
Halo Wars 2.
New Wars game, direct sequel to Halo wars. Lots of new things, vehicles, gameplay mechanics ect…
Halo: Earth.
Take place in a civilian’s boots, in the minutes after the covenant strike. Fight your way to get out of the city, get into fights amongst law enforcement to do anything you can to keep your family safe.
Halo Megabloks The Game.
Instead of Lego (as MB owns the license)lets halo a MB halo game! either following the original trilogy of the cheif and co, or all new stories in blok form!
Halo: Battlefront.
Imagine Star Wars battlefront. Now replace everything with a Haloverse counterpart. Imagine the awesomeness!
Come up with some of your own future spin off titles!
