SPG is a good stat to have

After digging through a few threads of mine on bnet, I came across one which did not have a single reply, yet was still and is still a good idea.

Spread per game.

In summary, spread per game gives us as players a better understanding of who the expected winners are. This in turn gives us a better understanding of how our Truskill will be affected.

I’ve stated that SPG is more important than k/d but imagine having both stats available in H4. Would you like this stat to be available in the next game?

In a skill based ranking system spread per game should average out to 1 just as K/D. I would bet K/D and spread per game would be pretty close.

EDIT (I didn’t crunch any numbers or anything, I just thought it through in my head so there could be something I am missing)

Actually, for every kill there should be a death, so

Player 1: +1
Player 2: -1

and the SPG would balance out to 0.

Unless of course there are suicides and betrayals and then it would be less than 0.
