Been an original fan since launch in 2001. Halo 5 has the best game play the series has EVER had and forge is evolving into something truly amazing. At launch I was dissapointed with the feature set, map selection, and the lack of classic armors + weapons.
I spent 400$ plus on REQS with hopes the money would go towards making the game better and giving fans what they want. 343 kudos you have truly done an amazing job keeping the game updated and listening to the fans. People who spent money on the game what else would you like to see?
I wish I had that kind of money to spend on reqs. I would pay them to add back split-screen…but you’re right, forge really is awesome now and I’m glad they’ve given it so much attention. Now we just need to be able to spawn AI enemies. And yes I know both of those probably won’t happen until Halo 6, but I can dream
Sorry to break it to you pal but that money ain’t going towards making this game better. Hell, it probably isn’t going to make halo 6 better either. If anything it’ll just tell them they can get away with making shallow games.
Dude just…no. Don’t spend $400 on add-ons to a $60 game. It tells 343 you will literally buy anything. As far as your question, I would like to see complete games released at launch. With all the microtransactions and paid DLC we won’t be getting that anymore though. Developers will continue to release half a game and sell the rest a piece at a time.
It’s your money and you do whatever you want with me, but I strongly discourage you from spending a single cent on micro-transactions in the future. Not only does this show 343 that they should keep this around because people like it, and that it’ll get more aggressive over time, you can buy REQs with in-game points, so it’s really not worth it.
I was 15 in 2001 when the original game launched. I’m now 30 and work more then 70 hours a week. That 400$ I spent I make in less then 2 days of work. It would of taken weeks of gametime played to unlock everything, I’d rather pay then grind forever. You know what they say time is money

Oi, this completely reinforces P2W.
You pay, and skip weeks of grinding.
Example, I’m level 140 and am not finished Gold packs yet.

The worst thing is the message that it sends to developers. I refused to buy Star Wars BF (I’m a huge SW fan) because they were clearly holding back content so they could sell it as DLC. So to get the entire game I was looking at $120. No game is worth $120. Buying $400 in req packs tells 343 that they can do the same with Halo 6, which means even though I can afford it I won’t do it.
Hopefully we get more War zone firefight maps and updates in the future. More classic weapon and vehicle req variants would always be welcome ( brute weapons from halo 3, halo reach and halo 3 shotguns, flamethrower, halo ce ar, brute chopper, specter, ect)
I’d love some type of Co op campaign that uses your spartan Ala Halo Reach and to a lesser extent spartan ops
$400…well hey, I’m not gonna make a scene on how you should spend your money, but I haven’t spent anywhere near that on REQ packs. Only $ I’ve put into halo 5 other than the original $60 when getting the game day I did was $10 when the HCS pack was released a LONG while back.
Great. You are literally telling them you like being milked for money for reskinned and withheld content. (The wrath skin has been known to exist since the WZFF beta, it has always been on the background of the WZFF matchmaking screen). Yeh sure, it’s your money, spend it how you see fit. But no need for a thread on it in all honesty.
Also, simply saying you are a fan since 2001 doesn’t in any way elevate you.

Yes. Sadly, 343 has somehow cast the illusion that spending money on req packs makes the game better later on. Or should I say, finish the game later on.
I definitely wouldn’t spend that kind of money on a game! Too many things I could do with that kind of money. Productive things. $400 to just throw out shows me only one thing that’s wrong with people in this country. We are blinded by our materialistic tendencies. Sorry, but that’s just excessive.

You are doing it very wrong. I got all REQs without paying anything back in 2015.
