Spend more on game testing!

Game devs who rush games out are not saving themselves money like they might think, spending more money on testing and polishing might cost more in the short term but in the long run it will cost them more in lost sales and damage to company reputation plus future sales of other games.

You need good gamers to test them with years of experience not just the secretary testing the games!

You know I wish I’d have bought shares in EA before BF4 and sold them on the day of it’s release like EA’s bosses did just didn’t have the money at the time to make a worth while investment.

Testing? What testing? Me break game code then ship for munny.

Some problems can’t relly be tested on a large population (like matchmaking). Anyway i agree with you. This release was a very big fail.

You can’t just throw money at IT projects and expect it to magically solve problems. If there was a snag in the process and cycles had to get cut, testing is ALWAYS the first to get cut. It’s either that or extend the timeline (delay the game).

We don’t know what happened with MCC and we probably never will, but more money is not always the solution. This is backed by MS after all . . . they have the bank.

I can think of a way how about a beta?

Why do we need a beta for fully finished games? 343 just completely failed at this project and can’t even copy + paste games correctly.

clearly the beta for BF4 made it’s day one release perfect.

clearly.

betas and large amount of testing by the masses don’t always show the problems either.

You’re limited, anybody that works in IT would never cut back on testing.

At least BF4 tried to run a beta, which is more than can be said here

It’s the new norm.
Pay to play the Beta.
Enough kids on here think it’s okay.
They’ll continue to do so.
