Alright, so where I am currently only had 5 Mbps download and 1mbs upload, is this enough to play halo 5? My ping is relatively low. Do you think I will have an acceptable experience with this connection? I’m in the US.

Hard to say. Make sure you are wired.

Yes you should be lol. I don’t have problems on wifi either, then again I am on a 5ghz channel. If only there is a recommendation for optimal play. They are gonna release the patch with preference play.
You’re fine. I play on 1-3 mbps download in the US and I don’t have lag problems too often
I play on around 5mbps on wifi, and have occasional lag, but it’s definitely playable for me.
I think you should be fine… Is that a cable or dsl connection? If you are close to a server and have good ping you really should have no problem. Speed is really only part of the story. If one has a fast upload and download but has poor quality connection (unstable) then they will have a far greater chance of problems then one with lower speeds but stable connection. Hope that makes sense and doesn’t confuse you or anyone! LOL

The only thing you will notice with a slower connection like what you have at 5mbps is it will take you awhile to download any updates H5 has. Because those usually are crazy large!!
This was pretty helpful since I was trying to figure out what I should get to play Halo 5. I’m getting new internet.
5mbps is fast enough to play any online game that has dedicated servers and be just fine. Fast enough to play without lag, any lag would be server end or if you’re somehow getting packet loss. Only thing you wouldn’t be able to do with 5mbps is stream. You would honestly be surpised how low of an Internet speed you can have and still play online games fine, any updates though would take forever for you.
