The fact that the latest update makes Spartan Charge a 1 hit kill when using speed boost completely destroys warzone.
Never have I seen so many spartan charge kills in my kill feed. What with getting level 2 REQ level after getting the first base, you can pretty much secure a 1 hit kill weapon from the very beginning of the game.
It has ruined my warzone experience because not a single person even tries to use a weapon.
Not to mention you can stack the speed boosts, so it’s impossible to fight.
Anyone else have the same view or have had the same experience in Warzone as of yet?
I’m not even touching Warzone until they revert speed boost back to normal. It did not need a buff.
I had this same problem. It totally ruined warzone. I was looking forward to playing the new map, but the only way I would die was by spartan charge. I played one game against “Rippin and uh Tearin” Spartan Company, and all they would do is spartan charge. My team was eventually trapped in the back of our base and they weren’t even going for the core. They started doing this when they had around 400 points, and when a couple players on your team leave, it is too hard to get out of the base especially when they have the speed boost. I played out the rest of the match waiting in the back of the base waiting for them to destroy the core, but they never did, they kept spartan charging everybody without playing objective. Poor sportsmanship.
Please note that when you play “Rippin and uh Tearin” spartan company beware.
I will try warzone a couple more times, but if I keep dying by spartan charges, I will quit.
My first WZ match, enemy team all put on lvl 1 speed boost after first cap charging through us to cap our base. At the very least this ability should be reserved for lvl 3 speed boost, you know, when you have stuff to actually spend your REQ points on.
