Has anyone run into this yet? It’s just slightly OP…/sarcasm. I don’t know if anything can be done about it, but if you manage to pick up the combination, it’s safe to say you can at least use the sword up before you can be killed.
Just thought I’d raise the concern, it’s the only thing that I’ve run into that’s been enough to make me get on here and post lol.

ive done it with the scattershot its fun
Any cqb power weapon and even the boltshot stops the sword dead. The swords about as useless as ive ever seen it in this game
As long as you’re careful with it, it can be useful. I’ve gone with the speed boost a few times after picking up a sword or hammer and it works great, especially to ambush enemies from behind when they’re in a firefight with other members of your team.
To others in this thread: yes, there are more ways to stop the sword now, but that’s assuming you’re fighting the person with the sword one-on-one and don’t miss your one charge with boltshot… Still plenty of room for quick sword kills.
I managed to get shotty and speed boost. Even on Ragnarok, it was hilariously powerful.
I wouldn’t worry about it though. Its a very specific combo which requires a personal ordnance AND a stolen/map ordnance.
