So far infinite is shaping up to be a fun experience in terms of the campaign from info we’ve been gettting, however, a part of me is still worried that we’ll have a repeat of Halo 5 where the maps for btb matchmaking were kind of lackluster. Any thoughts that we’ll have some good BTB maps to play on at launch?
I hope we have some good BTB maps. I hope BTB 2.0, if it’s real, doesn’t replace BTB. They should both be there imo

I think it should be merged and be a good balance of inhouse and forge creations later once the community has had time to play around with it. 5 didn’t have any in-house btb aside from warzone and they were game type exclusive.
All I hope is that the devs don’t hope that forged maps will keep this game alive.

Yeah, Warzone didn’t scratch the itch that BTB does, and I’m not sure Warzone-scale BTB will either. We won’t know until we see of course, but going from 4v4 Arena to 20v20, 24v24 or whatever is kinda wild. I’m sure the maps will be absolutely huge either way

it was a weird decision that there weren’t any in-house btb maps. I would’ve loved to play ctf or other objective gametypes on the warzone maps. maybe even add a warzone twist to it but what’s past is past.
