Spectate Delay on Custom Games?

We put together our first Company tournament last night and spectating was rather annoying as you had to wait until the game was already 1 minute in. I understand why this has to exist in Matchmaking. However, custom games doesn’t make sense to me. Is there something I am not thinking of or is this something they need to remove or add to the custom game settings?

343 Please allow freecam/spectating option for custom gamemodes!!! Please!
