In Halo terms it gets used variously to mean different things the main usages are:

  • A Spartan Company - a grouping with links into Halo 5 Service Records and commendations. Many Spartan Companies do things beyond just Halo 5 though. - A wider group with a focus across the Halo franchise or even far beyond.

If you’re looking to join a Spartan company we have openings in The Devilz Rejectz just click our name to go to our page to join. We play more than halo 5 we’re a group of good friends that got together to earn xp from getting the commendations. We won’t kick you for not playing Halo 5 just ask you to be respectful to each other and no drama.

There’s a difference between a Spartan company and a clan. Spartan Companies are just a thing on a website. I can be in a Spartan company and never once play with anyone else in that Company.

Clans are organized groups, and do things like raids and BTB. Most clans have a ranking system, as well as rules and regulations. Most clans don’t even have a Spartan company.

From my experience (and from reading on the forums) most clans are of the younger variety of players who enforce made up ranks on others so they can feel a false sense of power.

If you’re looking for a group to be in for Halo look for those who make communities. Usually communities have a few people who founded it and everyone else is simply a member. Much more relaxed, no drama, and everyone wants to just play the game instead of being bossed around by a 16 year old.

Best of luck though.
