So I have been going around to collect feedback to give for 343i and here is what I have gathered so far, please comment what you would like for 343 to add/take away.

  1. Nerf Spartan Charge - Either reduce the damage it does slightly, or make raising the gun after you do a charge take just a little bit longer.

  2. Add a couple voiced medals back into the game. Killjoy, Revenge, Yoink, and all the Reach spree based medals such as Slice and Dice, Hammer Time, Red Eye, and so on.

  3. More game types - Oddball, KotH, Ricochet, Regicide, Headhunter, Stockpile, Juggernaut, ViP, Moshpit, and more.

  4. Classic playlist - Old school maps (forged of course) with no spartan abilities.

  5. Custom Spartan Voices for Matchmaking/Firefight. Think about playing a match but then you hear Sgt Johnson’s voice, Buck’s, Kat’s, Jorge’s, Polaski’s, and that is just an example. Make them only unlock with achievements.

  6. Custom Game lobby, you can either host, or join custom games.

  7. Veto/accept option for maps. I hate playing the same map 3-4 times in a row and am not able to do anything about it. If the game gets more than 50% vote in either way it can begin either loading the map displayed, or choose a random map. It wouldn’t have to wait on a time limit to start loading.

  8. An invite to “Spartan Companies” in game option. This would be so much easier to do this way than going to Waypoint.

  9. A mode that lets you play as elites. Like elite slayer,

  10. More items in the forge pallet, it was great to have them, but in the Bungie games we only had Forerunner structures, Now we only have UNSC, plus we don’t have the old prefab structures. If we could not only get those back, but have UNSC, forerunner, and covenant versions of all the items then it would make forging maps of different themes a lot easier, and less hurtful on the budget.

  11. Daily, Weekly, and Monthly challenges for campaign, Firefight, and matchmaking. This brings so much replayablity to areas we may not play that often. Plus is it a lot of fun completing them and getting those extra points at the end of a match.

I cant believe i left that out lol, to add onto it I would also say some bigger maps and not to focus ONLY on the competitive scene. There are a lot of players who don’t want small maps and enjoyed the Halo 4 and Reach maps a lot.

I have no arguments with these items. I personally don’t believe a classic playlist would be good for the community at this point, but I respect your desire for one.

I don’t want to go into the reasons I think it’s a bad idea. Like I said, I respect your opinion. Cheers!

I think it would be good for the vet players like myself, it would please the people who do not like sprint as well as the people that do. It might bring back more old players as well. A win win situation i could say.
