So what armours have their own special unlock condition? I know to get Helioskrill you have to beat MCC on Legendary, but are their others? Or, God forbid, armours that can no longer be unlocked?
As far as I know the only armor you can unlock through a certain condition currently is Achilles, which is completing the spartan company kill commendations. I think the others (helioskrill, nightfall) have been added to the req pool.
Any HCS-branded armor - Athlon Champion and Challenger - cannot be obtained through the REQ system.
Achilles, I believe is the only armour. Nightfall and helioskrill has been added to the req pool. Of course you can still beat MCC on legendary to get the helioskrill armour but that seems more work for armour you can just get from req packs

Just to add a little more info on those 2 sets:
- The Challenger set can be obtain via a free promotional REQ pack during 20th to 21st March 2016 that comes with a Halo World Championship emblem - I think the Athlon Champion skin is obtained by purchasing HCS 2015 REQ pack back at 3rd to 6th December 2015. Also comes with a HCS Assualt Rifle & Magnum skin and a HCS emblem.

Aside from those, the HSC armor and weapon skins cannot be earned through the REQ system; only obtainable through the HSC pack or the eSports team packs. This cost $10 with no RP option as they are designed to support the teams and the HCS program. The default HSC pack is also a limited time pack, usually brought back during big tournaments in the season.
There is also an exclusive Challenger armor set, based on the Protector armor, that could only be obtained from the Halo World Championship REQ Pack, given to everyone who Halo World Championship 2016 Finals. Unknown if it’ll be given away again.
The Classic Helmets can also not be earned from the normal REQ system; exclusive to the Classic Helmets REQ Pack for 150k RP or $10.
Otherwise I believe that is it.

You can still get skrill from req packs.
