Let me start off by saying, I know that no one may ever read this. I know that this has a 1 in a million chance of causing 343i to take any action regarding this specialization issue. But you know what? I just have to try.
This is coming from someone who’s played Halo since CE. I know a lot of people say that, but I and many others grew up with this game. We have memories with this game. We’ve been here to watch it go through it’s ups and downs. We’ve been here to watch it suffer for the past couple of years, and when Halo 4 came out, you gave us so much hope, 343i. I love this game, don’t get me wrong. After being heart broken by Reach, I was so incredibly happy after playing 4, until now.
343i, I don’t mean to be rude, but very few people in your studio have spent nearly as much time with the Halo franchise as we, the community have. And you know what, the whole thing with map packs so early doesn’t even bother me. But something so small and so easily fixable as unlocking a few specializations does.
This is something that can be fixed within the next day for everyone who payed 60 dollars for this game. I guess I just don’t understand why you refuse to make this available to the thousands of people who didn’t get this “code”, via update or free DLC. I just don’t get it.
You have made a great game. You have made your money. You have succeeded in making so many true Halo fans happy. I beg you 343i, to please not let something like this ruin it for all of us. Because I’m not sure people are going to continue to play with the level cap being 70. People are going to start giving up, and people are going to move on soon if you can’t get this figured out.
So I know you may not see this. And I know that this may have been a waste of time. But 343i, please listen to your community and your fans on this matter. Get it done. Get this taken care of and let’s move on.
