So currently for each specialization you get a armor mod, a gun skin, and an armor set. Really the gun skin and armor dont matter to me so really all I’m seeing out of the specializations are the little armor mods. I really just think if specializations are around in the next go around, they will have to have more depth and meaning.
One idea Ive had is that IF 343 ever got around to making ordinance drops more customizable, they could make say the wetwork spec let you unlock the ability to make a shotgun appear in all of your ordinance drops or like a rail gun in all the operator drops. I really think ordinance needs to have more customization to it in future halos and can see how this would also add a little more depth to specializations if that was also to continue.
