Specializations: I'm giving 343 one more week

I am giving 343 one week to give me all of my specializations back. I am so fed up with this. This whole thing is entirely unprofessional and it’s ruined Halo 4 for me. Great story line, great campaign and then you screw up the multiplayer! Great job 343. You’ve got one more week before I sell my copy of Halo 4. And at this point, I really don’t think I’m going to purchase Halo 5. Suck it 343! -Yoink- liars.

Play the game for the fun of it, not for a larger number.

He mentioned nothing about the rank/number… he mentioned the locked specialisations.

Read before you post.

OP it sounds like you had them and then they disappeared? I had this and redownloaded my specialisation unlock code and then restarted the game and they were back.

I meant to post that under this gamertag! I keep forgetting I let my friend use one of my email accounts. But I still meant everything I said! lol

just give all of us the codes, what the -Yoink- is this all about?!?
seriously… and yes, im mad! I’m just waiting for some one to post “stop whining and 343 is the best because now i can run around with power weapons every single game, blablabla” when you sit there with your spec code, a lot of dbl xp codes and so on! What about EU? In halo 4 it’s not just problems in the game itself but also around it with stupid codes, map packs that some people got for free and so on and so on. It’s so much BS!

Every aspect of the way 343i has handled specializations has been a disaster.

Every aspect of 343i is a disaster, they’re probably so money hungry they’re already trying to make halo 5 instead of fixing halo 4, oh well… i guess you just have to expect a -Yoinking!- company these days

I’ll be sure to check for gameplay before I buy the next halo, hell maybe even wait a month or two to see if they release DLC 343 worst gaming company yet

Microsoft handled the Spec codes for those of you who are complaining about not getting a code. Just sayin…

Strangely, my specs disappear whenever I go Online. Try equipping them Offline if thats your problem

And it’s funny how Xbox “Support” sends us here. Typical stonewalling.

Prepare to be disappointed. Skeleton crew = nothing will be changing.

Welcome to real life.

i hope you all realize that they said long before launch that the specs would be how you leveled up and that if you didnt get the LE you wouldnt get the specs asap. and that youd have to wait.

Probably because 343 is a champion when talking about glitches and bugs. See HAlo:CE

I never heard of that since the game was already released. If I knew that I’d problably have bought the limited edition instead of standard. But its OK, they sent me a spec code by playing the game before november 20th, but I think its unfair for Europeans and who doesnt played it until 20th. Why not release it to public?

outside of the US spec codes were also released as a pre order bonus in many places. thats part of the reason. also what i assume from 343s posts is that they are waiting for a certain unknown milestone to be hit before releasing them to everyone.

I hope you realize they didn’t tell anyone how long you’d have to wait. Furthermore, I don’t actually recall this information in standard edition product descriptions.

No one should have to assume. This is business. And what milestone would that be, 10,000 comments posted by frustrated customers?

  1. does it matter how long you have to wait?? least you have something to look forward to in this game. all ive got to do now is play like crazy till i have 100% commendation completion which makes me play every way i dont want to.
  2. i assumed the milestone would be how many specs have been completed. ya know so that once enough of a percentage of people have gotten to a high enough level everyone will be able to get all the specs.

Its not an assumption. They are, in fact, waiting for a specific milestone (or set of milestones) to be reached. Whether that’s an overall measure, or percentage of players that reach 70, or whatever, is anyone’s guess.

And you shouldn’t assume because its business? Phew, what world of perfect information do you live in?!

This was a MICROSOFT thing, go to the xbox forums, 343i have nothing to do on giving OUT THE CODES!

> And you shouldn’t assume because its business? Phew, what world of perfect information do you live in?!

Sarcasm is not an argument. Customers should know what to expect. If widespread access to all specializations is waiting for some milestone they should tell us what it is.

You can try to rationalize 343i’s handling of this, but the reality is that their handling of this has produced a lot of unhappy customers. The key to having happy customers is to address their concerns, not try to convince them they should be happy with a situation that frustrates them.
